BBQ Shrimp (Christmas Eve)F
Marinated shrimp grilled or broiled.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs shrimp (16-18 count, peeled and deveined, tails on)
- 1 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp tomato paste (or ketchup)
- 1 tbsp oregano (dried or fresh)
- 3 cloves garlic (chopped fine)
- 3 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1 tsp tabasco or hot sauce
- salt (to taste)
- fresh ground pepper (to taste)

Instructions
- Peel and de-vein shrimp, leaving tails on.
- Blend all sauce ingredients and pour over shrimp. Marinate 2 hours or overnight.
- Cook shrimp over hot coals or under the broiler for 2–5 minutes, then turn over. Do not overcook.
- Heat the sauce and serve shrimp with sauce and bread.
